Where the price is always right and the waiter always asks, "how you doing my friends?" 5/27/01 "Mad props go out to Steve 'Duck Sauce' Shapiro for being the best basketball buddy EVER" ~PAST DAILY UPDATES~ 6/19/01 12:00pm Aerosmith was a really good show last night as they played a ton of old school stuff. Getting out of the parking lot was a bitch though; it took 27 minutes. From there i went to Sean's and almost got into many accidents because other people dont know how to drive. We went to the palace with Mac and met up with the others there. Then I tried watching raw but fell asleep but Brad called and woke me up. I just watched raw and it was a solid show with DDP showing up. I am going to the gym with Sean and Chris in a bit. No plans for today yet otherwise 6/18/01 12:30pm Work is getting very frustrating for me because it is so repititious and boring. I guess I just have to deal with it. I went straight from work to the train station to the U2 concert which was the best, most alive show, I've ever been too, the crowd stood the whole time. This show topped Ozzy from a few years back as my favorite concert of all time. The crowd was electric for 'Sunday Bloody Sunday', I actually got chills from it. I almost missed the train going there because i got stuck on a last minute call at work. I went to the palace after i got home around 1 but no one was there yet and I wanted to go to sleep so I did just that. I am going to Aerosmith tonight at the beach. I relly need my next 2 days off because of stress so i am happy that today is my friday. Thats all for today. 6/17/01 2:43pm Unfortunatly today is extremely busy and I haven't been able to update this site. I am doing this on my lunch break and am in a rush to do so. yesterday after work (and a Yankee 2-1 victory over the mets) I went to the gym only to realize it was closed. From there I went home and showered. Erica called saying she was sick and eddie called saying he wanted to hang out (lol). We went to matts and looked at the pictures I got from the Pocono's which came out good. We went to the pool hall and played for a while (almost witnessed a fight between to hardass children). Then to the palace where it was freezing and i couldn't even finish my french toast. I then picked up mike and went home. Tonight I am going to see U2 at msg, I was only able to get the one ticket so I travel alone. The train leaves at 7:01 at seaford. I will enjoy it. Thats it for today. Feel better Erica!!! 6/16/01 12:03pm Yesterday was a very shallow day So i shall break it down so it seems like i did a lot. I worked, which, as always, is buckets of fun. I was going to go to the gym but i forgot my clothes so I went home and downloaded "AM Radio" by everclear> I then proceeded to call Erica and talk to her for a while. Then Willy came over to watch the Mets/Yankees and help me learn a little HTML formatting for my website. I then went to pickup Chris from United Skates and off to Jims to watch the rest of the baseball game. (Did I mentions that Willy had left already?) I drove around with Chris for a while to find a post office and then I went home; talked to Sean for a while and then went to sleep to cap off this amazing night. I hope to have bigger plans for tonight. 6/15/01 10:46am Well yesterday was quite interesting. I wish i could say the most exciting thing was having the girls play basketball with us but I think that was topped off by the incident afterwards that not even batman could have escaped. We play basketball at Lockheart school many nights a week and the security guard there always lets us play. He asked us when we were leaving and we said 10 minutes, which was just enough time for him to call the cops. They came as we were starting to leave and lucky for us the cops weren't nice and gave the 11 of us trespassing tickets. We waited for an hour and now have a date with the judge on 7/16. Maybe we'll have a tailgate party in the parking lot at 8am before we go in at 9. Work sucked as it always does due to it being boring. Erica and company and the guys came over to watch smackdown and then we went to applebees followed by a groovy game of basketball where Jacky had 3 baskets and Erica had 2 assists. That was the night. 6/14/01 10:14am I returned from my journey to dorney park last night. Definently the most fun I've had in quite possibly my life. I would definently like to try and beat that one day. It took a few hours to get there with no traffic and we went to Matts summer home in Penn., it was a beautiful house made entirly of wood. I slept on a queen sized bed which was a change from the one i currently don't fit on at home. We went to dorney park the next day (the 12th) and went on every ride except for the big log flume (not sure why though). After going on a corney little double loop roller coster i wasn't feeling good so instead of suffering for the rest of the day i just went to the bathroom and made myself hurl. Then we went to the waterpark and the first slide i went on i banged my nose on matts shine falling off the double tube at the end and i thought i broke it but alas, no blood, although it is swollen; we went on every slide there, the lazy river was the most fun for some reason. It was getting late so we went back to the roller coster area and the guys (matt, frank and brad) went on a few more as I didn't want to upset my stomach. Then to finish off the night we went on the Steel force roller coster for the 3rd time and got our picture from the picture booth afterwards. Good stuff. TGI fridays followed and then back to the house for a jacusie (did I spell that wrong...)bath. The next day we went to the lake for a few hours and swam around then we went back to shower and gather our things and go. We went to "American buffet-all you can eat)" Matt knocked over a tray of food. They sold fireworks there also. When we got home we played b-ball with everyone and then went in for the night. That was it. 6/11/01 3:02pm Another exciting day at work....well no not really, but It is half way done as is my lunch break. I will not be updating this site in the next few days as i will be on a short road trip to dorny park. I will be back thursday just in time for smackdown. Yesterday was possibly my best day in basketball ever, I felt I led my team nicely and if not for stomach cramps near the end of game 3, we could have won the best of 3 series. Aside from knocking Jim into the poll which wasn't intentional, my all around game including dribbling and lay ups were superb, but fatigue caught up with me and that was that. I'm glad sean was there to see it. I feel like i'm going on a long vacation in the next 2 days but since i've never been on a vaction with my friends before, I will make this a memorable one and it'll at least seem as though it is a week long venure. Das it for now, will update again thursday afternoon. -As always....it's a pleasure 6/10/01 12:39pm Lots and Lots of fun at work. After returning from the fun filled work day I watched the avalanch win the cup from the evil devils {indeed}, went to franks to do this and he was wearing a chef apron and cooking raw fish, nasty stuff, i passed on the seafood and had some honey bunches of oats cereal. We watched the replacements and went to the Seaford Palace where George the waiter said, "how you doing my friends". That was the day and for tonight i hope to have more juicy stuff for you all. Visit the archives link to see past info on mike/updates/quotes and such. As always...it's a pleasure 6/9/01 2:07pm The Yankees beat the Braves 7-4, the sixers lost a good game and the mets lost to the lowly devil rays. After work I went to Pathmark and bought some sunny d, talked to jim and erica and went home. Bobby got a new pc so i tried helping him set that up but he had no ethernet card to get online with, we went to the store and got one, still having problems with installing it though. After that i watched the yankees and nbs finals games and went to the palace. That was the day. 6/8/01 11:55am Work is boring...that was pretty much my whole day. The avalanche forced a game 7 in the stanley cup finals and the Yankees and Mets both won their respective games. Smackdown sucked last night except for the main event. After that we went to applebees and then played basketball for a couple of hours where my shins continue to hurt, but i'm a basketball player, I toughed it out. We lost both games, just like the last week. I haven't won a game in over a week. Das the day. 6/7/01 3:11pm I played Basketball again yesterday but my shins were hurting more then they usually did so I took it easy. We went to the mall later on and I bought new shorts as i bought new pants the previous day. Went to Franks after the mall and watched the Lakers/Sixers game and that was the day. 6/6/01 12:31pm Well, basketball was a lot of fun, we challenged these four guys to a 4 on 4 game, we lost both games but not by much and we left them thinking, "why didn't we kick their ass?"...well i would have to say because we (me, sean, shappy, tom and roy {we met roy there that day})played very well together as a team. Also because shappy wouldn't miss a damn bucket. I was sore and my body was tired so i know that may have played an affect too. I got pleanty of sleep and am just a little sore from the gym now but thats it. I am listening to pure moods vol. 3 (moby-procelain) right now and just relaxing to that. I bought the domain name www.legenjoey.com for 32 dollars for 2 years. I sent in this websites url to be forwarded from that one, meaning, by just typing www.legenjoey.com, you will get to this site, it will take a few days for that to go in affect. I won a u2 ticket for the msg concert this month (not sure what day yet) off ebay for $125, i am very excited about it. If anyone has any good quotes, let me know. I am probably playing basketball later but das it. 6/5/01 3:53pm Yesterday was my friday as I am off today and tomorrow from work. Last night we played basketball at lockheart for a couple of hours losing to matts team 3 games to 1 in a best of five, {team blood-sean/matt/white mike ~ team crypt-Me/evan/brad/frank}. Me sean and ev went to get some bagels with some schmear and then off to powerhouse gym, my first visit back there this year as i have been going to the cablevision gym. I then ventured to the bank/post office and pizza, now i am off to go play basketball at brady, goodluck at your first day at work, W. Mike 6/2/01 4:55pm It's Saturday, last night we went to the palace and then to franks where i fell asleep and although i was far away from dirty white mike (eddy), i could still smell him. After the gym y/day, my shins felt much better, i think its safe to say i found a temporary cure. The Yankees just beat the indians 9-4. I plan on taking any open shift from 8-9:30am for work when the times become available, i don't mind what days off i will get, i would rather have less sleep and more play time during the day then my current regime. Das it for today.
